Magna5 Acquires Services Provider NetServe365
Magna5 announced it has acquired managed services provider NetServe365. Pittsburgh-based NetServe365 focuses on network and server monitoring management, cloud hosting, and IT consulting. Magna5 has garnered the products, services, and solutions from three main telecom sources: X5 Solutions of Seattle, CornerStone Telephone of Albany, New York, and NovaTel Ltd. of San Antonio, Texas.
“Acquiring NetServe365 not only solidifies Magna5’s footprint, but also provides an invaluable level of security and risk mitigation to its more than 7,500 small-to-medium-sized business customers across the country,” said Lee Garber, Principal at NewSpring Holdings. “Magna5 is purpose-built to answer the demand from middle-market companies that need enterprise-grade cloud services and high-touch support that, unlike the mega providers, is budget friendly.”
Magna5 already has an extensive portfolio, with offerings that include business voice and data services, hybrid network services, unified communications (UCaaS), infrastructure (IaaS), and software (SaaS). Its most viable offering is the Accession Communicator cloud-based UC system, courtesy of Metaswitch. The company is employed by 7,500 mid-market enterprise organizations from education to healthcare to government to financials and more.
NetServe365 aims to protect software and hardware with security prevention/detection, data backup, recovery, etc. The meshing of the two companies will enhance the services offered to businesses with both unified communications and security protection.
