Cytracom Hires Pinto as Channel VP
Cloud-based VoIP company Cytracom has named Eric Pinto its vice president of channel. He will work closely with CEO and co-founder Zane Conkle to develop the national channel network and expand the company’s business VoIP solutions.
Pinto was previously director of business development of VAR Staffing. He’s also served as senior product manager for security at Relyenz, and product manager for SaaS security sales engineer for channel accounts at Nuvotera. Pinto studies advertising communication at Boston College.
“Eric’s deep relationships across the vendor and managed service provider ecosystem makes him a perfect fit as we refine and execute our aggressive growth plan,” said Conkle. “He has a long track record of building effective channel teams and growing revenues.”
Cytracom already has a channel program in place. In fact, its go to market is exclusively through the channel. Now it’s working to streamline the company’s delivery model and solidify its strategy to deliver VoIP solutions to managed service provider partners.
VoIP solutions deliver a variety of benefits. As Noah Sessions explains in a recent blog, business continuity is one of them. That’s particularly noteworthy in light of the growing incidence of extreme weather lately.
“Cytracom’s hosted VoIP solution makes it simple to take a phone and move to another location to keep business operations going if you are dealing with a hurricane or other natural disaster,” writes Sessions. “Since the service is in the cloud and geographically redundant, we are able to maintain service anywhere you have power and Internet connectivity. If it is not possible to physically move the phones, businesses can also use a softphone client to make calls.”
And by working with a trusted managed service provider, Sessions says, businesses can be sure they have the right team and technology in place to meet their VoIP needs.
