Htek Introduces UC912G
In recent years, there has been a growing din demanding the death of the desk phone underway. However, as I write this article, I can’t help but think the exact opposite is true. Much like the network is going through transformation, so too is the IP phone. The modern VoIP solution is feature-rich, versatile and high performing. This week, the industry was given another reminder that the IP phone isn’t going anywhere.
Htek unveiled the newest member of the UC900 suite of IP phones, the UC912G. Htek has crafted this VoIP solution to address the demands of business – from small business to the enterprise – at a pocket friendly price point.
“We are proud to introduce the UC UC912G, which offers the most-classic graphical IP phone, an attractive design, and superior voice and SIP performance for SMB market”, said Navy Ding, CEO of Htek. “The UC912G continues our tradition of engineering fully-featured, high-quality IP phones at a price point that every user can afford.”
Features on the UC912G include: Dual-port 1000M Ethernet LAN ports, 2 SIP accounts, a 192x64 pixels LCD interface with backlight as well as 6 feature keys. There are eight additional dedicated buttons that accommodate the top used features, and the new IP phone also supports 5-way conference bridging in addition to HD voice.
Another point of note, like other Htek IP phones, the UC912G is interoperable with Alcatel-Lucent, Yeastar, Bicom, Asterisk, FreePBX, Broadsoft and 3CX. And, also like all other IP phones, the new release supports remote provisioning making it an ideal fit for cloud and ITSP deployments in addition to on-premises PBX deployments.
The UC912G will be available for order in October of this year from Htek’s global network of distribution partners.
