Phonism Helps TeleVoIPs Expedite Mitel Provisioning
TeleVoIPs will be the first to use the Mitel Aastra phones supported by Phonism. And together, Phonism and TeleVoIPs will provide businesses with faster onboarding and otherwise better experiences.
Tampa, Florida-based Phonism is a VoIP phone provisioning and management entity. Its solution uses automation to reduce time and cost, provide visibility across devices, and reduce support calls by enabling end users to change their own settings. Phonism supports endpoints from Avaya, Cisco, Grandstream, Polycom, and Yealink in addition to those from Mitel.
TeleVoIPs, which is also based in Tampa, is a telecommunications provider. It provides hosted voice services, SIP trunking, and videoconferencing. TeleVoIPs also has a portal through which it delivers what it calls Numbers on Demand, so businesses can quickly provision new phone numbers for new offices, remote employees, and sales and marketing purposes.
“Phonism has helped the TeleVoIPs team become more efficient by making it easier and faster to onboard and support our customer’s Mitel phones,” said Scott Baxley, COO of TeleVoIPs. “What used to be a manual process is now streamlined with the use of Phonism, helping us to keep our customers happier and minimize wait times.”
Steve Lazaridis, CEO of Phonism, added: “TeleVoIPs has been our VoIP service provider for over a year now. They have proven to be extremely stable, and their customer support and technical knowledge are unmatched. We are very excited to be helping TeleVoIPs streamline their Mitel phone deployments, especially since they are helping other businesses in our local community.”
In other recent news on the business communications front, Gartner last week published its 2017 Unified Communications as a Service Magic Quadrant report. This new report puts Verizon, RingCentral, BT, Orange Business Services, 8x8, and West in the Leaders quadrant. Microsoft, Google, and AT&T are in the Challengers quadrant. NTT Group, Masergy, and Star2Star are listed as Niche Players. And Fuze, Mitel, and BroadSoft are considered by Gartner as Visionaries.
