VoIP Solutions Week in Review: 3CX, Frontier, BroadSoft & More
Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in the VoIP space this week.
The week started off with the news that 3CX has made moves in the German VoIP market by acquiring Askozia. With the takeover of the Askozia team and their current premises, 3CX will also expand its presence in Hanover. Hanover is located in the heart of Germany and is home to CeBIT as well as many market leading companies. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the growth spectrum, Frontier has expanded its cloud VoIP services in order to stay afloat. The service provider just announced its Frontier AnyWare cloud-based VoIP service is now available in 50 states. Next up came the news that BroadSoft, Inc. has teamed up with Cable & Wireless, a telecommunications and information technology company. The two companies have decided to strengthen their technological partnership in order to help Cable & Wireless bring its new offering to the Panamanian market. Finally, the week rounded out with a look at a new report from Persistence Market Research. According to the study, the global VoIP services market is poised for further growth through 2024.
