VoIP Solutions Week in Review: BroadSoft, Duka PC, Securus & More
Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in the VoIP space this week.
The week started off with the news that BroadSoft, Inc., a player in the cloud business software for unified communication (UCaaS) space, and provider of collaboration and contact center as a service (CCaaS), announced that is has been selected by global research firm Frost & Sullivan as its Asia Pacific Hosted Telephony and UCC Services Platform Provider of the Year, for the second consecutive year. Next up, Securus Technologies, a provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions for public safety, investigation, corrections and monitoring, announced that 100 percent of all prison and jail customers have been converted to its VoIP Secure Calling Platform (SCP). Meanwhile, Duka PC made the switch to 3CX this week. Until very recently, Duka PC had been running a multi-platform communications system that was proving to be difficult to work with.
