VoIP Solutions Week in Review: Htek, 3CX & More
Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in the VoIP space this week.
The week started off with some exciting news from Htek. After attending the BeFree 2017 event last week, the company announced that it was a massive success. Htek attended the event with the intention of showcasing its UC 900 series of VoIP phones. The company also teamed up with its partner, Experiencia Sip, which is located in Mexico, to host a workshop for attendees. In even more exciting news, Htek announced that its VoIP solutions will support 3CX’s V15.5 BETA release. This is exciting news for both companies, as the new features of V15.5 include: a Web client; integrated hotel module; click to call Chrome extension; Fax G711 fallback; UA CSTA + CSTA Module to control 3CX Clients, Yealink, Snom and Htek VoIP Phones; average talk time per call wallboard; MOH playlist; and more. Speaking of 3CX, the company has a habit of creating partnerships with the purpose of expanding its reach. It’s already done so in places like Sorgues and Azerbaijan, and now it’s turning its sites to South Africa by teaming up with Madrid, Spain-based Comunicaciones Reunidas, SL (CRSL) to expand its presence throughout South Africa.
