VoIP Solutions Week in Review: Htek, Bicom, 3CX, Ecosmob
Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in the VoIP space this week.
The week started off with a look at Htek’s participation in the CommunicAsia 2017 event. Htek’s hope was to establish itself as a major player in the VoIP solutions space, and it did so successfully by showing up with 3CX and Cal4Care. Find out more HERE.
In even bigger Htek news, the company announced this week that it has partnered with Bicom. The partnership will introduce Htek IP Phones into PBXware version 4.1.2. Htek’s reputation for being reliable and cost effective should make its VoIP Phones an ideal option for many PBXware users. This partnership holds a lot of great potential, for the companies and consumers as well. Everything you need to know is HERE.
Meanwhile, 3CX announced that it has deployed its solution to yet another customer—except this time, its IP PBX will be powering an entire town’s operations. The City of Sorgues, France, has carried out successful deployment of 3CX’s VoIP PBX solution amongst the municipality. The City is home to over 18,000 inhabitants and, of those 180,000 inhabitants, 450 work as public servants, which is why a VoIP upgrade was desperately needed. Full coverage is HERE.
Finally, the week rounded out with the news that Ecosmob has launched new IP PBX software that’s slated to bring value to multi-tenant providers. According to TMC’s Steve Anderson, the new software offers several new features for the end user, “allowing said user to not only offer up VoIP service, but go beyond that to include things like video calling, multimedia operations, and access from anywhere via remote network bridging.” Find out more HERE.
That’s all for this week. Come back next week to read all the latest news in the VoIP space.
