Htek UC926 VoIP Phone Named 2017 UC Product of the Year
Thanks to digital technology, we are able to communicate with text, audio and video seamlessly from virtually anywhere. For IP phone manufacturers like Htek, it means integrating Unified Communications (UC) options into the VoIP solutions it offers so users can bring all of their communications solutions together and collaborate, whether they are at the office or on location with their mobile device. Since it was founded in 2005, the company has been designing and manufacturing IP phones and gateways with the latest technological development. This effort didn't escape TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person and online, who gave Htek a 2017 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award for its UC926 IP Phone.
The UC926 is part of the recently launched UC900 IP phone line, which was designed to have cutting-edge innovative features and broad SIP compatibility. Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC, said, “Our judges were very impressed with the ingenuity and excellence displayed by Htek in their groundbreaking work on UC926. It gives me great pleasure to honor Htek as a 2017 recipient of TMC’s Unified Communications Product of the Year Award for their innovative product, UC926.”
The UC900 line includes the Gigabit Color IP Phone UC926, Gigabit Color IP Phone UC924, Gigabit Color IP Phone UC923, Classic IP Phone UC903 and Enterprise IP Phone UC902.
The UC926 can support six SIP accounts and IP-PBX features that include Busy Lamp Field (BLF), bridged Line Appearance (BLA), Message Waiting Indicator (MWI), voice mail, intercom, paging, call park, call pickup and more. It also supports five-way conference and group listening, SMS and emergency calling along with XML browser and action URL/URI that takes advantage of the IP capability of the phone.
It has a 4.3" 480 x 272-pixel 24 bit depth color display with backlight and an intuitive user interface with icons and soft keys that display Caller ID with name, number and photo. The audio has a HD voice handset and speaker with the most popular codecs and a full-duplex hands-free speakerphone with AEC, VAD, AGC, CNG, AEC, PLC, and AJB.
A directory allows users to store up to 1,000 entries and XML/LDAP features makes the phonebook accessible remotely with search/import/export capability. The call history, which is part of the directory, stores dialed, received, missed and forwarded calls. This information can be used for audits and to address any compliance regulation for record keeping.
“We are proud to introduce the Htek IP Phone UC926, which offers the most-requested color gigabit functionality, a attractive design, and superior voice and SIP performance,” said Navy Ding, CEO of Htek.
Winners of the 2017 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award will be announced online and highlighted in INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
